What made you pick the name?

There a brief story behind mine. I was actually looking for a Honda before I got the Subaru. I know, :stinky: , but that's what I had previously. Anyhow, I looked at my Suby and saw it had a 1.8L engine. I think, "the Integra has a 1.8 and it flies" so I think the same about the Impreza w/AWD. Boy was I wrong! I didn't know too much about Subarus but the AWD really caught my attention, plus I wanted something unique, and I got it. It is probably the slowest car I have ever owned, but I love it! So, the reason my username is I_H8_1.8 is because I thought it would be more powerful than it was. And yes, I did test drive it, but I figured it would get better. I think it actually got worse with some of my mods, but that's just my butt dyno reading. Boy does having the heat/ac on really kill it!

Mine goes like this...

I used to play the Star Wars CCG. Danz Borin is a Star Wars character that was on screen for like 1 second or so. I always liked the card, and we had an inside joke between friends. That Danz Borin was the ultimate man, kinda like the Marlboro Man for the next generation. So we would always shake hands and in a deep voice utter, "Danz Borin". Since then it kinda stuck. We did some stupid things like make Danz Borin name tags at work and such.

So there you have it, the story of the nick DanzBorin!
