02 wrx swap

  1. stock fuel system
  2. stock turbo (td04l-13t)
  3. cat-less 3" turbo-back
  4. metal turbo inlet
  5. spt sri
  6. gm 3-port bcs
  7. tuned on 91 octane (18psi and tapers to redline).
car was originally tuned at 20psi but with IDCs of 120% boost was turned down a little bit (18psi). at 18psi its close to ~100% IDC.

is there something wrong with my fuel system? would like your opinions.
(i can run datalogs if it helps, but i'm unsure of what parameters would help solve this problem, romraider.)

[resolved-ish]
decided to just swap my vf39 in plus supporting mods.
i'm guessing bad injectors or fuel pump.

If fuel pressure weren't up to snuff, the ECU would have to hold open the injectors for a longer time. How's that looking?

IDC is a calculated value, it's not entirely accurate. Stock turbo at 20 psi at a reasonable afr of 11 to 11.5 or so won't max out the injectors.

haven't had the chance, still quite cold outside.

afr is ~11 but i would like to be safe.

on another note, i noticed a slight whistle that comes and goes around the intake manifold.

guess boost leak test and fuel pressure check are in order. i'll report back when i'm done.
