Kinda tore my front bumber off on the right side. Does anyone have a diagram or pictures of the bolt hole locations so I dont have to take the whole bumper off to discover the location and parts needed to reatach it? This would also facilitate minumizing parts costs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Best regards,

Exactly how did you tear off your bumper? Bumped into something? I think there's about three plastic "Subaru's infamous 2-piece" screws on each wheel well and a few big screws to hold it in place. I've never taken it off my car before. You can also check the 'lightweight front/back bumper install' mod I think on azscooby or miatreg sites. Hope it helps.

How it all happened`

I needed to pick up my mother at a shoping center yesterday. The parking stalls have those blasted concrete tire bumbers that dont allow you to go any further.....well I looked at them and they were a bit "tall" so I eased into the stall and to my relief I did not hit or scrape my bumber. I am usually very careful about parking in these types of stalls and for that matter even diaganol parking against a curb. So I thought nothing of it. Mom showes up.....unlock door for her.....she piles in and I start my baby up. I pull out, of course after looking both ways and I hear this awful scrape and grinding sound. Now......you gotta understand....My mother weighs in at around 225lbs. I had totally forgoten to consider that when I parked. If you ever want to see how your car looks lowered, I can loan Mom out to you. Needless to say I poped the bottom pin holding the lower part of the bumber cover.....that one is easy enough to replace.....but I found 2 plastic screws or what was left of them.
