i got a new throw out bearing from a guy on here a while back, i guess its the snout kit or something like that. it looks different from stock, and the directions are very informative. i took the clutch fork out (was going to weld it but now im not sure)

how do the clips sit in the clutch fork? do they go in the little holes or just sit in the fork its self?

like this.......



or like this........(going through the hole.. i will have to bent the clips a bit to get that sharp bend in)

not sure what the hell happend to those clips, but this is what you need:
SUBARU Part # 30539AA000

^^^ If he had the stock T.O. bearing, he'd use the slips as shown. Since this is the snout repair kit, the bearing is oversized. I would put the retainer on the fork as shown in the 1st pic.
