Not sure which forum to post this in but I thought I'd pass this on.

I've been using this tin pan I picked up about 6 months ago from
AutoZone. It's really handy when changing any fluids on the car. No matter how careful I try to be I always end up getting oil on the garage floor. This pan is big enough to cover a big area and will catch any oil that goes misses my oil drain pan. It was 7.99 I think and worth every penny. I wish I got one years ago. Would have made changing the rear diff a lot less messy too. Just thought I'd share.

From this page I did on changing you oil:

PS yes I know there are 6 quarts there, the H6 takes 6.1 qts. Just switched it to synth last night. Just hit 10k :p

I don't have one of my own, but they are very nice. I've been thinking about getting one, but haven't yet. I like that it says "Blitz" on it!:D

Looks really professional

But

Not to burst your bubble! but won't a large bake'n or cookie sheet do the same thing? Hopefully you find it cheeper than the 7.99 is still a great buy.

I've been in the food industry for almost 20 years now and I've never seen a cookie sheet or baking pan close to this big. Plus cookie sheets don't typically have sides. It wouldn't even fit in an industrial sized oven. If you found one this big it would cost a lot more than 8 bucks too trust me.

Hmmm...I might just get one of those.
I'll sure miss using two days worth of old newspapers.
