Good news for Ver 4/5/6 rear bumper guys

Except for the License plate mounting on these things...I Love my rear bumper. I tried the silicone mounting way....with the flat piece of aluminum...It came loose...I found a NEW way to mount your Tag...and its only about $20

I had a JDM Bracket ordered from Rallispec...but it seems their Customer Service is kinda slow so I need to improvise mounting my tag to my bumper...

what did I find thats EASY and accessable to everyone.....a NEW TAG Bracket...

From, Of all People VOLVO..


Mounts right up to bumper WITH NO issues what so ever....:)...Now to try and find a better way to mount the tag lights..:)

thanks....works great...you have to drill 2 holes thru the plastic bumper...no big deal...and...its Freaking Straight..:D...

The tag Bracket is for a S60...it is OEM for the Rear bumper...

This literally took 15 minutes to do..:)...

First I painted the bracket with my trusty Krylon BBQ paint..


I used the rubber pads from Home Depot for $3.29 to protect the paint a bit where I was mounting the bracket..



Then I drilled the 2 holes..


I mounted the bracket with Stainless 1/4in bolts with nyloc nuts...I put 1/4 fender washers behind the bumper...



then just used the mounting hardware that came with the bracket and mounted the tag....super super easy...seriously..:)

I ought to email RalliTEK and have them carry these things. They were (and are) Volvo specialists for a bazillion years, before turning to Subaru, too...
