Hey all, I finally got a decent job and can afford to work with my RS now. I need some recommendations on a good cat-back exhaust for my 2000 RS. I am autocrossing in the GS class so it has to work good with the stock engine set up (no intake for atleast a year) and a mid-pipe. I NEED it to sound good and not sound like a sissy honda. I love the sound of a typical opened up 2.5 BUT I have heard a few that sound like complete ass! Is that from the people that put a 3" exhaust on a N/A car? Thanks all!

One more thing, could you all let me know where you got it from and what you paid?

Well, I like my ScoobySport a whole lot. It sounds freakn pissed. It's a little pricey though.

And I bought my Stromung 2.25" midpipe from Larry.

Just make sure you have a 2.25" mid-pipe to maximize performance with the NA engine.

Get the Brullen. I have the 2.25 cat-back and I love the sound. I got the quiet set-up and it's perfect noise level. Larry Ganz can get them nd has great service.

I have to agree with puckaveli I also have a Brullen Cat Back 2.25 I also ordered it from Larry. Just keep in mind that the order will take a awhile. It took two months from the time I ordered for it to be delivered to my house.

I have the meduim sound and it sound really good. I just installed it yesterday. The craftmanship is top rate.

I just ordered a Stromung Dual tip muffler and 2.25 Stainless mid-pipe...a bit pricey but this is totally the system I want. I just got my 18"x7.5" Konig Imagines and will post pictures when my exhaust gets in. Thanks all. I'll let you know how this works out.
