I was wondering if anyone knows how high I should put the spoiler on my GC8 to get proper downforce at high speeds (120+). I'm planning on buying either the gtc-300 or the gtc-500. Thanks. :help::help::help::projectsti.com:

Well there is not much proven data for our cars due to the fact, actual wind tunnel testing is quiet expensive. I have however tried to replicate it in cfd programs, but with much difficulty (never got to finish)

Aero pretty much a black art haha

But it is widely accepted that a wing should be near the width of the car and the airfoil should be angled near the streamline of the air coming from the rear roof line.
(easily negated if a wing is in fresh direct air it would not matter as high as you can make it haha)

Most of the time the air is already traveling at a downward slope right after the roof line.
(keep in mind all wings are created different)

Here is an article that might help explain

don't forget the most rear the wing can be is the best!

It does not have to be high for you to generate down force, however the pitch of the spoiler will make all the difference.
