So I swapped my transmission with one that was supposed to be correct for my 95 LX coupe 2.2 4EAT but now it’s only working as RWD and also feels sluggish to accelerate does anyone know what could be my issue?
CV axle? Solenoid? Different gear ratios?
Thank you for any information
that seems....impossible. i'm like... 90% certain that it should be the other way around as there is a physical connection with the front and not the rear. I'm gonna say that transmission you put it was not correct. what are the transmission codes from both units? should be a sticker on top of the bell housing, starts with TZ or somesuch thing.
TZ102ZA3BA-G9 Impreza trans pulled out
TZ102ZAAAA-C7 Legacy trans installed with TCM
I jacked car up and only rear wheel drive is working and only has 3rd gear. Also when you shut engine off trans won’t hold in park
There is something wrong with the transmission you installed, or you need to run the impreza tcm. Information available to me right now says they are compatible, so your issue is a noodle scratcher.
Did you ensure you have the correct amount of fluid in the case? Have you tried jacking up the car and spinning the front tires to see if the other side spins as well? Maybe the transmission is shot?
