for anyone who has owned and tuned with one. i know stock pressure should be about 38-42psi during idle. what about during start up? i just need a base firgure pressure range when i crank it up to start. i may have it too low or too high to start the car. when i crank it, i get 42psi. after the cranks, it slowly goes down to 20psi, stays, and eventually to 0 after i leave it alone for a while.

It should stay at least 35 psi after it starts. Is it actually starting? I'd start it off regulating around 35 until you get it figured out. It needs good pressure to atomize properly, instead of squirting. Maybe your regulator is leaking because the fuel rail side of the regulator should stay pressurized after you turn the engine off for quite a while.
