FS: FS IL: 2000 Impreza wagon w/V5 STI Swap

ATTENTION: This car is running off of a LinkPlus standalone ECU, and WILL NOT pass OBDII emissions testing. If you have such testing in your area and do not know a way to deal with it, then you should not purchase this car.

With that said, I am selling a 2000 Impreza L wagon with a V5 STI drivetrain. the chassis has under 37,000 miles and the drivetrain 35,000. I would rate the exterior at 7.5/10: It is rust free, but does have several dings and scratches. Interior is 8/10: Some scratches on the plastics and some rough spots on the tint. Door cards have seen better days, but are not too bad. There is also a light stain on the driver's seat and the carpet is a little dirty. I will shampoo both before sale.

Quick History:
I purchased it about 15 months ago, when the previous owner was forced to sell because of loss of employment. He was a long distance truck driver, so the car sat more often than not (he put about 20k on it in 4 years). Unfortunately it was not always kept in the garage, and I understand that many of the dings came from his family's driveway. It has been garage kept during my ownership.

The car was my daily driver on my 40 mile commute for about 2 months. My position then changed and I now work from home. I now drive the car about 5 miles a week, literally. To and from my daughter's daycare, 3 days a week.

Reason for selling:
Short answer is that my house needs new windows and this is the easiest way to come up with the money. There's more to it then that obviously. It doesn't seem practical anymore, at least for my situation, especially considering how much use it gets. My wife's also 7.5 months pregnant, and I think she would appreciate something a little more family-oriented. She doesn't really care what I drive, but does not like driving it on the rare occasions she has been forced to do so.

Mods:
I have changed the car quite a bit since purchase to suit my tastes. Here is how it stands now:

On previous car sales I have had buyers back out last minute, all saying it had nothing to do with the car. So I beg you, if you have to check with your "financial adviser," your Mom, or your girlfriend then please... don't waste my time. However, if you are interested and have the money or the means to secure it, let's talk!

Trades?
I'd consider trades for a Forester, Legacy wagon, or similar in the $5,000 - $6000 range, plus cash on your end. I would not consider a trade for a $8000 car and $1500 cash to be a good deal, so please do not offer.

Shipping or Travel?
Depending on sale price, I will split shipping or airfare with the buyer. I can not deliver the car.

Sorry for the novel, but just trying to give as many details as possible in advance. Thanks for looking. PM with questions.
-Brad

PS- Feel free to check my eBay feedback for assurance that I am an honest seller.
