The Version 5 struts (the pink/red ones most Scooby dealers are selling) are great struts too. Very comparible to the KYB/AGX's they just lack the adjustability. If they had been selling for $70 each when I was looking to buy struts, I might have bought them! I don't think either one is a bad choice, IMHO.

I am currently running on the Version 5/5Zigen settup. I like mine alot too, but if I had it to do over, I would probably get the AGX because of the adjustability. I just put a set of Tein HA's on hold and when I get them on, I will be putting the Version 5's on my fiance's OBS with the stock springs. She wants the car to be a little more stable, but not harsh or as low as my RS is.

I run the Tein (S-Tech) Softs with KYB/AGX's and they are just a bit to low for me. 1.5" drop in rear and 1.75" in front. I have already hit the tow hooks multiple times, cracked my borla headers and usually push snow out of the way in the winter. They KYB's I like. The Teins I do not.

I will be going to DMS's 40mm Coilovers hopefully late this coming summer.

spshultz - I agree the Tein's are a little low, I'd most likely go with the Eibach's if I were to do it again. Are you running a lower profile tire? The reason I ask is that the Tein's only dropped my car just over an inch in the front & an inch and a quarter in the rear. ???:run: I've never hit the tow hooks or the front spoiler for that matter in the year and a half I've had them (Even rally-xed on them and didn't bottom out or drag the front.

I hit the tow hooks on the front when I had the 5Zigens springs on my stock struts for a few months. I actually discovered that the front collision sensor for the airbag is right above the right front tow hook and Dale Teague informed me that there have been instances when people ran over curbs, crushing that tow hook and the airbag went off. So we cut it off.:D

By the way, all the new smilies are great

My setup kicks ass, anyone that has ridden in my car can attest to that one. :)

5Zigen springs
KYB AGX struts
Whiteline adj. rear sway bar set to 22mm
Whiteline endlinks front & rear
Kumho 712's
Max. negative camber up front (no alignment other then that, oddly enough)

Car rides on rails and drifts perfectly. I've been known to outcorner many of people while leads packs of scoobs places. :)

I have DMS 40mm coilovers that will arrive any day, other than that I have a 20mm RSB. Once I get it all set up I'll tell you how it is.

the dms golds rock! tho' if i were to do it over, i'd order them them with a little bit stiffer springs, maybe 350/300. the struts can take it, for sure. still might change them out, btu that's lower on the list right now...:)

A very streetable, autocrossable package in my opinion, not adjustable though ,but thats one reason i got the version 5 struts,id be messin with them all the timeif they were adjustable:rolleyes:
ps,i just remembered the springs are no longer available, doh!!

I've had the Prodrive WR suspension for about 15k miles now. It's very good for an all around street suspension, with an extremely supple ride. I recently switched from an 18mm to a 20mm rear sway bar, and I wish I'd done it sooner. The 18mm would be better if you have stock struts, though. The STi top mounts are essential, and the Whiteline ALK made a significant improvement, too.

I'm thinking about putting on the DMS golds in the Spring since I plan on spending a lot more time on the track this year.

definitely a KICK Ass setup and i can attest to that

i have AGX's w/ eibach sport springs, 20mm STi rear bar, rear strut tower brace, have what i believe are MRT solid rear endlinks sitting in the car and i want to get whiteline endlinks for the front.

I like it but it's not as responsive as i would like just yet.

i have hks super form springs on the stock struts and that lowers it a bit too much. but they are sof enough to keep the ride livable and not chopped-spring-bouncy. Tein HA's are in the future though
