Fidanza Flywheel, ACT Clutch, & STi Tranny Mount

RS CLUB,
I got my Fidanza flywheel, ACT clucth and sti tranny mount insatlled yesterday. Having the car for a ful day of driving I really MUST say that THIS is a VERY impressive mod!! My 1st gear is insane!! No bad vibrations, and the clutch pedal is a little more stiffer but no first gear take off problems at all. Car drives like stock!!

So does first gear end quick or what! How many times did you bounce it off the rev limiter?

I havent bounced off the rev limiter !! It is still controlable with a good foot!!

Nope exedy flywheel 11.6 lbs I go though first way to quick and constantly used to hit the rev limiter when i first got it.

Yeah, I also have the Exedy Flywheel and I love it. I have also bounced it off the rev limiter quite a few times, but that is what it is there for. The reason that I went with the Exedy is because I really didnt want anything lighter than 12lb for turbo reasons, and not to mention that it is one solid piece of metal instead of two (steel / aluminum). I heard that if you get two different types of metals on a flywheel that each of them heats and cools at different speeds causing shattering, ??? Sounds lagit to me.

Anyone else heard this?

Even with the stock flywheel I'm constantly finding the rev-limiter in first through third. It pulls like a monster all the way up, unlike when it was stock.

Fidanza is a great bang for the buck!

Hey thumper!

The fidanza is not bad at all. And for the price that Bottle is elling them at is worth it . More than 100 bucks cheaper than exedy's flywheel!!
Plus Fidanza had a replaceable friction pad thingy!! and bnillet aluminum!!

Yeah, I second that...where does one find this here excedy flywheel? Also, if someone can point me to where I can find the ACT clutch, that'd be great.

Less than 11,000 miles and my clutch is going. Jeez...

Just out of curiosity, what does the stock flywheel weigh?

Who's currently got the best price for a FIDANZA flywheel? I can go directly to them, but the last time I did, they (Fidanza) had an agreement with a vendor not to sell retail. That wasn't for a subie flywheel though....
