I was thinking of buying a JDM impreza exhaust, wanted to see if fitment would be an issue with my 2001 2.5RS.

Any insight would be appreciated.

There are many frequent discussions about this, you should search next time.
Turbo exhausts do not fit non-turbo models without modifications to the position/length of the flanges.
