With only 795 members, this place is pretty small to begin with. Then with all of the forums to post to, it makes it seem much slower. Some of the forums go days and weeks without replies. The complexity probably turns some people away too. I know I don't have the time and patience to check through all the different forums.

I think it would atleast seem a lot more active if there were a much simpler layout. Like what the I-club was before it got huge.

Do we really need an SCCA and a Motorsports forum. All of the off topic forums could be combined to one. I'm sure we could get by with 1 technical forum like the I-club originally had, but it is kind of nice having this area split up so I'm not complaining so much about that.

I don't know if I'm the only one who feels this way or not. It's just a suggestion.

Well, yeah, this place is kind of small (which is fine by me :) ) but I thought about the design quite a bit. Yeah, we've got lots of crazy areas to check, and quite frankly the one area I would probably ditch at this point would be the regional forums. There is not a lot of activity in them (other than the whores!) and I thikn the I-Club has a better quality regional forum in most cases. So right now I see the regional forums as a waste of space.

However, most of the other one's I think work okay. Yeah, so there is the SCCA, motorsports, and other areas that seem kind of slow, but I think they serve a good purpose - being able to ask questions that relate (for example) to what class you'd be in the SCCA in your RS. Or talk about mods that work well (or poorly) for the SCCA - specific to the RS again. So by having a little breakdown of areas I thikn it can serve a purpose.

I am actually probably going to consolidate the SCCA, Motorsports, and one new area into one fairly soon, to keep things somewhat cleaner. However, I always wonder about just listing everything on one main page like the I-CLub does.

Shall I post a poll? :D

I belong to a cycling community that uses the vBulletin tools too. One thing I really like is that the site has a menu bar at the top and has a "View most recent topics". I go there first since it has the new stuff and is easier than rooting around the entire site looking for new threads.

I really like RS25 site though. Don't need to change much.

The site I was speaking of is www.bikeforums.net
