From what I have read, the wrist pins are interchangeable for every model of subaru.

I just bought STi rods and pistons, came with no wrist pins. My question is this will my EJ251 phase II wrist pins work for the STi rods n' pistons? I am pretty sure they will, just not 100% sure.

They should, but It's best to have the pins that are matched for the pistons.

Measure them and check the STi FSM for confirmation.

Where is the best place to buy wrist pins? I am having trouble on ebay and subaruparts.com finding 07 sti wrist pins.

I think they will be tough to find, because they usually come matched to pistons.

always buy a matched set, unless you measure the clearance of piston to wrist pin with good (i.e. mitutoyo etc.) calipers & micrometer and it matches mfg. specs.

I can say with 100% certainty that the cir clips are .055" thick on all subaru EJ engines and will interchange between models.

You dont use calipers or a inside mic for a bore. You use a bore gauge. Better yet are deltronic pins.
