Hmm ill have to run some more tests then.
Of course our times will vary. But I took my car to the track several times when it was completely stock (not even a CAI) and I consistently ran 10.0's on the 1/8th with a 60' of 2.1-2.3. Best time was a 9.84... I then blew my HG.

You must not have really launched your car; like you said, you were in the middle of the road...

I just used this application on my 2.2L as well today.

The road was kinda going downhill a tiny bit but I figured I'd do it for fun. A co-worker was holding the phone against the dash so it moved with the car.

Numbers I can input:
Weight: 2600 lbs
Drivetrain Loss: 22%

Acceleration:
0-10 MPH: 0.87 sec
0-20 MPH: 1.87 sec
0-30 MPH: 2.91 sec
0-40 MPH: 4.34 sec
0-50 MPH: 5.66 sec
0-60 MPH: 7.31 sec
0-70 MPH: 9.00 sec
0-80 MPH: 10.79 sec
0-90 MPH: 13.35 sec

Elapsed Time:
60': 2.62 sec @ 25.8 MPH
330': 6.82 sec @ 56.4 MPH
1/8 mi: 10.14 sec @75.8 MPH
1000': 12.92 sec @ 88.7 MPH
1/4 mi: 15.29 sec @ 90.7 MPH

Miscellaneous:
Max Speed: 94.4 MPH
Max Acceleration: 1.31 G's
Peak Horsepower: 184 HP

What all did you strip out of your car to get it down to 2600lbs?
Everything.

I really just put it as a guess... I have no idea how much it really weighs until I take it to a weigh station. Like I said tho, I'm sure the numbers aren't really accurate due to driving down hill.

I just got that program and im averaging 308 wheel horse. Who knows if that is accurate, but that is about what i was going for when i forged and turboed the phase 2
It's calculating you HP with the acceleration and the weight that you put in. So the potetial for getting a gagillion HP is possible.

If you add weight the HP # will actually increase as it takes more power to accelerate more mass in a given amount of time.

Pulling 1.32G's on acceleration sounds wrong.

I have a G-tech PRO that I use on my car & have tested @ the 1/4 mile track (.1 slower than the Englishtown Raceway Park's official NHRA approved track time on a given run) & have done 1.8s 60's @ just .9X Gs which taper down almost immediately.
The longest safe street test zone in my area allows for just accelerating to the 1/8th mile point @ which time you have to begin to brake - best I could do on the street was 8.877s 1/8th mile a while back.

Don't know how they tested or set the G-tech up, but I have personally used the G-Tech Pro on the track & got times so close to the track times / time slips (.1 slower than the track times) that I am very happy with its performance.

Just looked @ the video.

I actually tracked my car @ Englishtown & even used the same lane they did with the Mini (the other lane supposedly bites more says a friend that runs 8.8's - 9.2's in the 1/4) - G-Tech results were @ most .1 slower than the track time & the G-Tech never fell off my window.
No burnout on the 4eat Legacy Turbo, but if I had to do a burnout I'd just leave the G-tech in ready mode until I fully staged then press OK so that it timed, the way I did when I tested.

This seem like an advertisement of some sort to me......
