I've got a 99 Legacy SUS, put 55 profile tires on it, and dropped it about an inch or so. I'd like to drop it around another 1.5 inches, but don't want to damage the struts.

Would I be better off with shorter struts, leaving on the stock springs? If so which kind should I get?

Or should I just go with a set of short or adjustable coils? I've heard this can give a pretty harsh ride though.

Help,

Thanks, Ron

hmmm. What about putting a set of legacy gt sedan H&R's(lower 1.5" from sedan height). You could match that with a set of adjustable kyb agx's struts for half the price of coilovers. Just a thought.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll start checking prices and availability, there may be other suggestions, but at least I have an option that sure looks like it could work.

If I go this way, I'll let you know how it works.

Thanks, Ron

Good luck! There are a lot more options for your 99. I cant even get springs for my '01. I can get coil overs, but I enjoy my teeth in my mouth, not rattled out and on the floor
