I Have a 2000 2.5rs and am wondering if i can just get a cheap pistol style actuator or if i need to but the expensive oem replacement, does doorman make one for it? i found a similar looking one on amazon, but it says it wont fit my car.

I used to use these Amazon.com: HIGH POWER DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR 2 WIRE: Automotive at work to do power locks. It will "work" but your going to have to dick with it a lot, to get it just right. Expect to replace it every few years. Wiring should be straight forward, just get the polaritys right.
