The one mod I saw (parallel) did need to have the intake manifold removed, since all the FI lines are run underneath it.

Sweet, can't wait to see this! I'm not sure if I'm going to do it yet (car still has a bit of warrenty on it), but if (when) I go FI, this will need to be done. Hell, even if I don't go FI, I'm going to do this when the warrenty expires.
