Really off topic, but I was wondering if anyone has seen a car with carbon fiber fare better in an accident with a deer or any animal for that matter? Would the CF likely break? Crack? Or shatter everywhere? Kinda a weird though that just popped into my head, couldn't find much on the interwebs about it surprisingly.:rolleyes4

Most tend to steer away from on coming animals from the magical kingdom. My guess would be both shattered and cracking.

seems like the deer are attracted to our cars, my family in the past few years have it about 6 deer, but seems like most CF hoods would break in some way, there is a video of some hillclimb/time attack composite body looking race car that hits a deer sends it flying and the car is just fine.

Carbon fiber cracks and breaks off.. My uncles CF eclipse hood did just that rolling into a car.. Not sure about ''shattering''
