Just bought original DW200 (9-201) with DW301 fitment kit (9-0791) and have a question about included filter.

In Walbro pumps you need to install oem subaru filter on pump to prevent gap in fuel supply. This is cause Walbro making too short filter.

Should I do the same with DW200 like installing pump on oem subaru filter OR I can with no problem install DW200 filter which is included to fitment kit ?

My stock fuel pump has started going bad on my 01 RS coupe :(

Would the DW200 be a suitable replacement for a stock car? What all do I need to install this? Is there anything I should know before making this purchase?

Thankyou!
