hey guys, are there any difference between the cobb intake for the dohc and sohc engines??

just wondering because i'm buying a cobb intake from a seller that had it on his 98 RS (dohc) and my RS is a 2001 (sohc). will there be any problems with it??

i dont think so, my cobb cai has been two different motors and no problems, but i think it depends on the cai, i know one goes into the fender inside the engine bay and the other (mine) goes right under the passenger side vent of the hood. i think everything is the same between the motors except the heads.

The only year that it was different is the MY99 with the MAF sensor, They made one with an adapter for that though about 3 years after the initial release. Really pisssssed me off having to wait, But I believe you should be fine with the 98.

a MAF CAI wont work with a MAP car I believe. Correct me if Im wrong.
