So, I installed a set of P1's on my stock shocks. Everything looks OK & everything went together fine, but I'm getting a clunking noise from the front right when I hit a bump.

Any suggestions what to look for?

Did you tighten the top strut bolt all the way when installing it back on?

Yes I did tighten the top nut, and verified the conical washer was properly seated.

I think your upper spring seat might not be aligned properly.

sounds either like its the bolt not tightened all the ways -- or the spring seat, i had the same issue after installing new struts, discovered the seat was off a little.

Going with PFL said- the top hats should be pointing away from the car right? When I say 'pointing away', I'm refering to the arrow on the top hat.

Ahhhh, that could be the problem. I didn't actually see any arrow so just aligned it by eye. Exactly how do I need to face it?

The thread I linked to has some info on how to line it up. I'm not sure I can say it any better.

The arrow needs to be pointing away from the car.

Well, I finally got around to pulling the struts back out and repositioning the top hats. There was no arrow on them, but the picture linked above did the trick. Got it back together and everything is perfect.
