Thanks to REX8 over on Nasioc for this information.

His post:
Thought I'd try to pass along the info for track whores/people on a budget:

I've been running Autozone front rotors; part # 34203 for the last four trackdays. OEM and Brembo blanks stress crack after about that many days of hard running, so I figured I'd give these a shot.

At $31 each(!) how could I go wrong. Anyway, they've held up at least as well as the Brembo's and the OEMs have. Don't shy away from them. (Miata track guys run these as well, lighter car, but they hold up for them too)

I also just picked up a second set of H6 rotors from them, # 31273. $19 each. At that price the H6 upgrade may be a possibility for more people.
Part numbers listed below:
RS front - 31247
RS rear - 31043
WRX front/4pot front - 34203
WRX rear - 31043
H6 rear - 31273
2pot rear - 44322
EDIT: These numbers only work at Autozones and that is it.

Beautie! Nice find!
Also, I use these and they work great. Never had any issues what so ever.
uh. do you mean duralast rotors? I thought those things were absolute junk?! I'm honestly shocked!

thx for the info
Yes I mean Duralast rotors.
I guess they aren't junk then...
I know I probably sound dumb asking this but....

Will these rotors work with stock hardware? Stock 2001 RS braking systems that is.

I would believe the rotors to be cross-compatabile but couldn't the calipers have something to do with it? Would I need WRX calipers?

Thanks alot :)

You would need to get a the WRX adapter to move the caliper further out to fit the fronts. The rears would need the H6 adapter to fit the rear rotors.
Updated first post with RS part numbers.
Isn't the WRX rear rotors will work as 2 pot rear rotors?

Nope. The 2pot rears are vented and wider.

Thanks alot, do you know a good place to buy these adapters?

Also, would having a larger diameter rotor improve braking performance at all? Or would it not matter with the 2/1 pot brake system on the RS?

Thanks for the help!
I used them with my SRT-4. Had 4 30 minute runs on the road course and then 5 autocross runs the next day without any issues!
Awesome, thanks for the tip! I will def. be pursuing this route when my stock brakes get worn. This is a major money-saver! Now the only major expense is those damn brackets for the front and rear!

Hrmm... better then brembos and cheaper. Do they have wrx rears? Seeings as how i drive a wrx :)

Edited the post for you. Thanks for bringing that up.

I could try and find ones for the STi if anyone is interested.
I'm also rolling on these rotors. No issues yet.

cheers
