Well,Just for comparison purposes.The quality is so good that I chose these over the subaru aluminum hood and trunklid.So I would say they are pretty darn good.

Have you seen the WRC hood.

It has the factory scoop in it regular location and then there is a scoop that faces the opposite direction and goes down into the engine bay slightly to pull air thru the radiator.Hard to explain.Pics will come soon.:biggest:

Waiting for a fax.The hoods are being made by Kaminari.They had told me that the eta was late april to early may.

I talked to them the other day and they told me they had additional delays due to overly high demand for other products.These are all FULL CARBON that they are building now.They will also have the carbon over glass option.

Once I have a hood in my hands I will re-post with pics.

This is what a real WRC hood looks like. I don't know what you are describing. Where do they plan to take the mold from? Do they have one of these hanging around? Well, I know they don't, because I bought the last 3 that Prodrive had, ever. Sorry for sounding anal, but I am the "other guys." Furthermore, your price is ludacris. That price can only be for the fiberglass piece. 100% carbon hoods typically go for about $1200.

I wouldn't sell carbon over glass if it was all profit. Fiberglass shrinks. Your poor customers will put their new hoods on and a couple of months later, they will have 1/2" gaps between their fendors and the hood. The company that you are going to either doesn't know this (very scary) or doesn't care about it's customers. (even scarier)
