i have a quick question... i'm kinda confused about this...
i'm in the process of building a turbo conversion for a 00rs...
can i get it running using a VC and a RRFPR with the stock ECU? do i need a SAFC for fine tuning? do i need to change the timing since i'm installing a turbo?

since the 00 is MAF there shouldnt be any need for a VC right?

im so confused!!

Yes you can use them with the stock ECU. I'm almost positive 2000 2.5rs uses the map ej251 so you will need both. SAFC is up to you, it will most likely run smoother and safer but is not required. Stock timing adjustments should be fine as long as you stick to low boost and the other supporting mods.

Thank you very much! That made everything clearer! What are the advantages of a piggyback or standalone compared to this?
