Here is the situation fellas

Obs111's car is swapped and good to go. We just finished the tune and got it running great...........until we turned it off to check the oil


The power FC is resetting the memory every time the key is turned off. We looked at a few RB20 forums and seems to be common problem with switched power. Seems the power FC wants to see power for a few seconds after the key is switched off

Any one have experience with this??

is there a wire for a backup power like the ecu?

if the pfc uses a back up power source like the stock ecu, and it doesnt jhave it, it might lose the learned/flashed rom each time

if the car wasnt wired for the stock ecu having backup power, the pfc wont. this should be something that you should not have to do. the merger should have done it.

oh yeah gotcha. The problem lies in the JDM relay set up apparently on the rb20's

I did not mean to imply that the prob is with Iwire. The car started first try. Harness was great.

So is it as simple as adding a constant to the ecu. Or is it more in depth than that?

Problem solved. Car runs GREAT! obs111 is like a kid in a candy store

Problem was with the ghost tune.

Big thanks to Brian @ Iwire for the quick responses during the confusion.
His harness was flawless and car started first click without so much as a hiccup!
