one of my flywheel bolts broke. the bolt is in the crank but the heads sheared off. will it be okay if i just leave it there and not replace it? its only a few grams difference im sure.

Try to use a screw extractor on it. It's not a matter of the weight, its a matter of even pressure and properly securing the flywheel.

The last thing you want is your flywheel to go firing through your bellhousing at 7500rpm

Get the bolt out and replace it. That is one area where you definately do not want to sacrifice anything.

Dont do it man!

The flywheel weighs a bunch, and if its not properly secured it could cause some bad harmonic vibrations in your crankshaft and say.... destroy your oil pump.... which would be BAD.
