Im having trouble fitting my new Porterfield R4-S rear pads into the rear calipers. It seems as if the pad is just a tiny bit too big to fit into the clips on the calipers. The front pads fit fine but the rears just dont want to fit. Any ideas?
My guess it that it will go, you just have to putts around with it. I think I have the wrong pads every time I do brakes on anything because they seem just a hair too big.
sand or file down the spots that hit slightly. Man aftermarket pads come like that. Also, make sure your caliper brakets are clean, and free of rust and dirt where the pads sit.
