So i found a car for sale i think on NASIOC and its got blown syncro's for 5th gear. the guy selling it says it "shifts fine with the clutch in". how much of a pain would it be to replace, is it really that big of a deal, and is there shrapnel floating around in the trans from the missing syncro? thanks for the help! (also has a 6 puck clutch...maybe the stress helped?)

depending now how muc the car costs you can always just replace the tranny.
When I blew my tranny I found a replacement on here for $350. If the car is
super cheap this may be worth it

if he has a 6 puck in a stock car i would run away. cause if he needed a 6 puck and broke a 5th gear syncro that cars been beatin on

tranny back is stock, but hes got a swap engine in. the 6 puck kinda scared me cuz from what I've read no street car needs it...
