Definitely a big relief to sell the GF8 but I'll miss her for sure. So much fun to drive!Yay you guys sold the wagon, that must be a huge weight off the shoulders. Congrats on the move and everything, you're life wouldn't be fun if it weren't for all the muck ups just be happy you made it down and your car is in one piece.lol Anyways the car looks great, excited to see where it goes!
Thank you! I actually use a DSLR and edited the photos. Appreciate the compliments!I really like your photos, do you use film? Awesome RS btw!
I may as well upgrade if I'm taking it out anyway. The plan is to get the whole thing for an "easy" swap. Thanks for the info on L&E! We'll see though, not many hits on people that have a spare one to sell haha. I may have to look for a stock one.Sweet!
Any particular reason for the STi rack and not just a stock replacement? You'll have to modify your steering column link in order to connect the GD rack to the GC column. Either that, or swap out your steering column with one from a GD. L&E makes sells the GC to GD column for $115 just in case.
I really appreciate the input! While I'm attracted to the response of the STi rack, I do like my current turning radius. We'll see what I can even find haha.I've owned an RS with the stock rack and one with an STi rack. If you're DD-ing the car, I'd stay stock. Your turning radius will increase with the STi rack. It's not unbearable but it is noticeable. The increase in rack speed is negated by the increase in turning radius IMO for a DD. Obviously it's your car so don't let me sway you either way, just wanted to throw in my experience with both.
