My 2001 RS needs a new driverside axle and i was wondering what axles from various subarus fit. It's making clunking noises driving in a straight line so it's getting bad.

I get axles from NAPA/Advanced/etc. they cost ~$80 each.

I think Adam @ Z1 Auto said he was able to get some too.

Thanks I'll check it out. I was kind wondering if they were compatible with other subarus too. maybe 02-05 imprezas or wagons that would fit my car.

dont even bother with what else would fit..just go to an auto parts store and get one for your car. all you'll find cheaper is a used one with no guarantee against anything. which is pointless when you can have a brand new one.

When new for a few bucks more w/ warranty, why wouldn't you!?

Just make sure to return the core.
