Auto to manual,will Legacy trans. work?

Contemplating auto to manual swap. 95 LX coupe 2.2. Will my spare 96 legacy outback manual swap into this car? I know I need to find the matching diff, but will I need to find a manual shift driveshaft from an Impreza manual? Are the Impreza auto and the legacy manual trany cases the same length & casting? Will I need to swap front driveaxles?

I've found nothing different between the auto and manual cv axles... keep the ones on your car...

although the legacy's trans may be different so don't quote me,
