Set the Car Select to '5', with the arrow pointing to it. Fot the Type Select, put ALL switches UP.

This is how mine is set, and it works, so there ya go.

Oh yeah, my car is having a little trouble cranking right now, let me know if yours does the same when you get it installed.

What kind of turbo system are you running on your car?

Graham
t3/t4 .40 trim
tial 35mm wastegate
saab ic(for now)
apex itc
vortech sfmu
walbro 255lph
greddy 3" exhaust
3" downpipe
2 something inch up pipe
thats what i can think of right now, lol i think theres more but i cant remember right now
And how much boost?

Sounds like a sweet setup, have any numbers to compare.

I ran about a 6.5 0-60 MPH shifting really slow.

Is the ITC in yet or not?

Graham
nothing in yet, still waiting on parts to come in. i'll probably do my electronics tomorrow, then fuel needs, then in goes turbo and exhaust and all that great stuff
Do you have the English instrutions for the ITC? If not, I can send them to you via email. They give the pinouts of the wires that need to be cut (6 of them).

Hope you get it up and running soon man. Are you having any custom fabrication done for the charge pipe or intake?

Graham
just finished installing the itc, but when i started the car the first time it stalled out, the second time however was normal. drove it around, seems fine...so my first mod = itc haha
stock car + itc = super stock car ;P
just curious but, is that normal to stall out the first time? -akcel
You should be alright, just make sure you don't have your timing TOO far advanced, as when starting the car you want retarded timing.

Graham
i dont like starting my car now, ;\ and that cel is bright haha its my first cel sighhhhhhhh
to cure the starting isssue, advance the timing one degree. Figure that the ITC retards everything one degree when it points to zero. Been there, done that.
i wanna finish my turbo setuppppppppppppp
Well then quite your complaining and do it! :happynow:

Anyway, is your car starting alright, mine still does this sometimes:

crank crank crank, stop, crank crank crank start.

When it stops, I still have the ignition all the way forward, so its not like I'm stopping the ignition in the middle of the crank. I have no idea whats wrong with it, mixed igntion pulses or something.

Graham
it still does the lil idle low right when i start then jumps up to normal rpms....mine starts right away though....but today driving home from my meeting i got a flashing cel then it went away??

Sounds like a spark firing too soon, meaning the ignition is advanced too much. At slower speeds (RPM) the spark fires while the piston is still moving upwards. Well, that stpos the engine. Try checking your timing.
Ackel, thats a good thing your CEL started flashing, it means your ITC is working!!!

If you have an OBD-II device, which I do, you can pull up your codes and it will read "Misfire on Cylinder #1. #2. #3, #4"

HAHAHA!! Did you ever think that CEL would be of benefit to you?!

Anyway, James, I need to mess around with my timing some more, but it sounds more like my battery is just giving up in the middle of the crank.
