I was wondering if anyone else is going to do the TSD in Michigan on January 12th? I'm going to give it a try. It will be my first time. I hope you all respect me in the morning.:D

Oh how I do hate you ;)

We need a TSD down here!!! I'm thinking of trying to get one organized. Plenty of Indian country coards around here to do some good stuff.

Eric, I just read in my latest issue of SportsCar Magazine that there is going to be a big TSD in Arizona in March! the 1st through the 3rd!! It will be put on by the Arizona Border Region of the SCCA, and it will be down in Tucson.
They listed an email address to contact for more info.
Here it is: [email protected]

Also you should try the Border Regions website, there might be some info there.

Hey Porter! Should we go show 'em how it's done? :biggest:  ;)
I definetly do TSD rallies just for the fun of it. Can't fathom spending as much money as some people do on TSD GPS type equipment to get so close to the mph they are supposed to be. The last one I worked the winner was a stock mid 90's (Bubble style body) Ford Taurus with a crap load of TSD helper electronics onboard. :)

Porter and I finished second at the 'Orchards of Winter' TSD in Asheville a few weeks ago. Even though we went 50 miles off course at the end! haha.... We clipped one corner and went drifting through some gravel and a mudhole, stoped at a four-way stop with the control in sight, and Porter said 'floor it!' We went screaming past the control, pulled in, and they told us we were only 5 sec early! haha... Our only instruments were the car's odo, a cheap Wallmart stopwatch, bread, and porter's craklin oats that he poured all over my passenger floorboard!   We figured out what direction we messed up to get so far off course, so we're excited about running another one! :D
