As you all know, Jerry and I have formed DNT Performance and are working on a new supercharger kit for the 2.5 liter. It is my wish that we don't stop with the supercharger. I have been looking at several different possible products for the GC8 and I was wondering what your thoughts were on these.

1. Camber and Castor adjustable front strut mounts. Probably around $200 for a set

2. Solid front and rear endlinks. Heavier duty than the Whitelines, but with the fronts being adjustable. I don't even have a clue on price yet, but I don't think they would be much more than the Whitelines.

3. Mechanical LSDs. Front, center and rear.

4. Yet another cold air intake design for the 2.5. I have taken the design of this one and based it on some cold air intakes I have seen running on the NA Imprezas in Japan. It should provide a big boost in top end and .no loss in low end torque.

5. Possibly even an equal length header settup, around the price of the Borla, but equal length and better fit and finish.

Let me know your opinions, comments, questions, tell me I am insane...whatever.

I'd be interested in the strut mounts and the headers (as long as it would be compatible with a turbo system)

I think that it's cool that you're going to make stuff for the GC8 chassis, and not jump on the WRX bandwagon and forget about us.

The LSD's (center and front) have been of interest in the past, since no one makes them as far as I know - Quaiffe does not and they were the only outfit I could find.

I would be interested in a front one down the line. :D

Yes we are not going to forget about you, but of course Jerry has a WRX, so I have got to design some stuff for those guys too. We may do some up and down pipes for them, but that is irrelevant here.

Yes the headers should be turbo compatible seeing as I want them to bolt up to the stock cat location.

i'd like all of that minus the SC kit. I have the POS Borla's on my car, they just cracked on me, had to get them welded. I should have sent them back after it took us 6 hours and a drill press to get them to fit.:curse: I feel ripped off by Borla in a big way. If you come up with a good NA header design in Stainless, that has non of the shortcomings of the BORLA set up, I will definetly buy one.

I was actually thinking of regular steel to save on cost, with the option of having them Jet coated. But I will just have to find out about pricing difference in the material.

Supercharger Pricing

We are going to try to keep the supercharger kit under $3000. If you have interest in it drop me an email. I am working on an update to send out to all those with interest in the kit. I will try to get on out this weekend sometime.
