Hey guys.. New to the board!

I own a 98 rally blue RS..

I'm a cheap ass, but I'll be modding it out eventually.

My question:
Anyone know what a Snorkusectomy is??

It supposedly makes a pretty big improvement.. at least until I buy a Cold Air intake..

Has anyone tried it?

the snorkuswhatever will just remove the intake plumbing. really no horsepower or performance gains, but it sounds much louder

Welcome aboard!! The first mod I did was a Snorkusectomy, just because it looked so ugly in the engine bay. Of course, now the engine bay looks empty on one side, until I get a blower of course. =P

Hello! And the snorkusectomy is where you remove the intake silencer in the fender and all the other useless stuff.
