I am really big into removing weight from my 2000RS. I am about to order my aluminum hood but I want to know if there are any aluminum front fenders available for the GC8? Does anybody know?

Stout Aero

I don't know the Country code which you'll need when calling them but I will say that yes they do speak english as they are taught english in school everywhere in the world...

The country code can be gotten from other companies in Japan...I never called there so I dont' know if its different like area codes over here...

Talk to someone who deals with Companies from Japan and ask how their experience was...

They make hoods, Doors, and other aero parts...

Well if you want aluminum, you have to get the 22b fenders which Teague's can get you but cost somewhre around $2500 per fender. And they are wider like the 22b, obviously.

As far as getting either carbon or fiberglass. You can get a full 22b bodykit from Aerosimresearch.com They have had this kit in production since last June or so and seems to be quite nice. I was sent pics of the pieces by them selves and looks really good.

Also you can tell that they used real Subaru 22b parts to make thier molds. Which helps alot b\c tehn you know that the dimensions are exact or at least really close.

The entire kit in carbon goes for about the price of one authentic 22b fender, $2500.

Get an aluminium hood from Subaruparts.com (they have an aluminium trunk lid too). It'll save you about 15 lb and cost about $390. Think about putting your battery in the trunk also (on the drivers side). Doing both is like removing 90 lbs from your front end.
