Super noob question and I've never had an issue with my alarm/keyless entry..

My doors lock and unlock and the lights flash accordingly..BUT the alarm does not chirp anymore...???

Whats wrong?

had the same thing happen to my 01 rs. the siren was the issue with mine. plug a different one in and see if it works.

Did you plug a diff siren in? if so where did you get it from?

Check the wires that go into the siren. Mine suddenly got quiet one day too, turns out one of the wires stripped and snapped off close to the base, probably from me adjusting the rotation of the thing on its mount one too many times. Just twisted the wire back together and taped it with electrical tape, been good for the last 2 years - until the entire mount broke off the block due to vibration and rust.

But at least the siren still works (mounted in a new ghetto location)

My alarm speaker gave up. I still have to get a new one.

Yea, something is rattling inside my alarm speaker, can I just splice an aftermarket DEI Horn/siren into my stock wires?
