Well yesterday when attempting to replace the rear wheel studs in my '01 Impreza, I broke the ABS ring in the rear hub.

How do I replace this and how do I ask for it at the dealer. I.E. what is it called.

Thanks for the help.

And how would I go about replacing this ABS tone ring, I would imagine I would have to remove the knuckel, have the bearing pressed out and all that jazz. Anyone willing to help or have any information regarding replacing this thing.

got your part number

26750AA014 and i looks to be about 90ish for it

they call it an ABS rotor

your going to have to
pull axle
push out the center hub thing that you wheel studs are on
replace that ring and put new seals in around the wheel bearings
then press it back togeather

that going to be alot of work

Are these nessesary? Do you have to have them in? I know without them you'll have no ABS. But can I run without one?
I've been driving around with two broken front abs rings and its fine. Just tie the ring down to your hub or cut it off or it will rattle around while driving.
