Whats up guys?
Hey I'm curious to hear some input on a 1998 Impreza. I finally found one and I think I'm buying it.
Lets assume its got DOHC headers on it...
If anyone can give me alot of input that would be pretty cool.
Alright, well I hope its input good enough to make it so I can join RS25.com with car
Take care scoobys,
Devon

ok i'm lost... what are you asking?
headers? i got borla, i'm very happy with them, worked great when i was N/A and still work great now that i am boosted. The MY98 phase1 DOHC motor uses the same headers as the phase 2 (MY99-01) motor...

doch is good for turbo...........only thing i like on the 98's are the rims(gold). they look like STI rims that are on the STI.

You gotta love the original gold wheels. even the ver.6 STI RA and v.6 STI Type-R had the same wheels. But the nice thing is that the V.6 STI regular 4-door and the V.6 STI Wagon had the gold 6-spokes (like the '00/'01 RS wheels).

I heard that the DOHC heads put on the phase 2 block is a good
thing to have if you go forced induction.

the 98's were the first production for the rs so they had one big issue and that was head gaskets, if they haven't been replaced...replace em also my g/f's 98 always seems to blow the cam seals...but that could be the underdrive pulley.
