I am planing on swapping the 1.8 out of my g/f's Brighton when she gets a newer car. I'm thinking WRX swap but I'm looking for advice on how hard this is. If it's something I can do in my shop. Any what people would recommend? I know there are a lot of threads about swaps. But I don't know a lot about Subaru's so I kinda need it explained a little more (not knowing which motor is which)

You should browse around in the newbie section and just spend the next few weeks/months searching and reading as much as you can about swaps and engines on here, NASIOC, and other sites. anything you can find, read it.
