i dunno, what you said makes sense. me personally probably would, but only becuase the worn areas would nag at me and annoy my hands. also, i'd probably pick at it at stop lights..

I used some of that 3M Super 77 adhesive on the top where it was majorly deteriorating, seems to have worked. I just need to install it, but it's such a pain to do. Last time it fucked up my signals, couldn't retain horn function so I'm putting it off...

Anyway, there's a whole section on this site devoted to all things bodywork/paint that can be accessed through the search function.

Hey thanks, that's great! We'll aware of the search function, not sure why you needed to be condescending about it though?

Not meaning to be condescending, my online/realistic persona on the world stage is naturally dickish.

P.S. use the search function.

In the beginning of time there was rust...

...and then there was
the absence of it:

Correct, I did not do a thorough job. I'm taking it to my bodyshop guy who is going to do a full-on fully sicked out polished job this summer.

Stay 'tuned'...

I started to put that MoMo wheel on today, and realized I needed a special tool that I don't have for the weird hex bits on the side column. Oh well, I decided to make the best of the day and plastidip some trim that was bugging the shit out of me:

No clue as to why the paint flakes to reveal shinyness under, makes me wonder why fhi didn't simply use black trim in the first place.

Look at all this cool packaging...

Zero Sports balljoint protectors installed:

Gimicky or not, it's still a really unique idea. I doubt I'd ever generate enough heat through those rotors and shrouds to crack the rubber. But now, I know I won't lol

Installed the MoMo Cobra wheel today:

Still having trouble deciding if I like the sport-style, or keep it oem leather-ish...

Also, got tired of the sun shining off the passenger seat buckle and blinding me in face while driving so I sprayed it flat primer:
