ive have had mine done since my post on 9/17 and have not seen a decrease only thing thats going to hurt gas milage is how heavy your foot is
Someone somewhere on the SVX forums said that power mode also prevents torque converter lockup. Have you seen a difference specifically on the highway?

(yes, I know, old thread, blame BOB).

No, phase 2 4eat doesn't have the pin in the TCU plug. At least mine did not.
Just yank your dash cover and take a peak with a flash light, count the pins and see if you're missing a wire.

I wasn't, neither of my plugs matched the described ones. I think it was strictly phase 1 4eats but I can't say for certain.

Another bump for an old thread:
On my '90 Legacy w/4EAT w/the Power Mode Mod, the Torque Converter would only lock-up w/the CRUISE CONTROL on. On my '96 I 'think' it locked up regardless.

Just thought I'd bump this thread to confirm power mode works on my '04 LL Bean 4eat non-VDC. I'm guessing ALL non-VDC 4eat's have power mode.
