This may be a noob question (sorry) but I couldnt find any real definitive answers in a search. I need to know if cams from a 2000 Phase II RS will work in my 2005 RS. I'm assuming my RS is Phase II, and I'm assuming the cams will work, but I don't really wanna go on an assumption when it comes to my car. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Phase I is DOHC 2.5 motor that was on the 98 RS's. The Phase II motors are SOHC 2.5 engines that were on the 99+ RS's. I think those are the only differences.. which makes me think my cams will work on your 05.

I want to get a Delta regrind, but something inside me compels me to keep all of my stock stuff so I can revert to stock at any time

They will work. I took cams out of an 02 Legacy and they were great for regrinds. Car runs perfectly.

All 2.5 SOHC cams are interchangable up to 05, 06+ comes with different cams with AVLS or something not to sure.
