I installed an Alpine stereo in my Impreza but for some reason I have to manually turn it on each time I start the car. Also, it won't save any of my settings. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

Your memory/constant 12v lead is not receiving power, check your connections at the back of your stereo.

 

[ACG]

yellow wire = constant 12v (Blue/Yellow)
red = ignition switch (Yellow/Red)
black = something metal or (black wire on harness)

i think you switch the yellow and red wire
(i think thats what everyone else said)
