I'm not surprised. It's a repainted sedan, with a basic WRX swap and built by someone who is not a "Subaru person". It's a nice enough car, but apparently not enough to command a premium price.

edit: at closer inspection, it hasn't had much chassis work other than throwing on coilovers. Looks like the original 13mm rear bar with plastic links.

Definitely been quiet lately. This one sounds pretty rough mechanically. Going to be a nice project for someone though. Don’t see it going past 10k. 6-7k on the low end and 8-9k if strong.

That thing is tore up for 32k miles and wanting at least half that in dollars.

The windshield isn't original. What happened to the passenger front door card? the left center vent is broken. whoever polished the thing needs to learn how to work around emblems; the subaru badging on the trunk looks awful and makes it painfully obvious the car was repainted, color corrected, or just poorly detailed. and what the heck happened to the keyfob? Looks like someone purposely scrapped the words off. And to finish it all off, the tires are fucking 22 years old and the brakes are rusted.

$16.5 didn't meet the reserve? get the fuck out of here.

pretty clean car overall. If I was the seller, I would have removed some of the "mods" like the stickers and japanese subway train handle etc, cleaned up the engine bay some more. But overall, it's got a lot going for it.

Agreed. I also would have done a better job cleaning the interior, and I would have bought the rubber clutch peddle pad for $8. I can see not doing those things if you are selling your Corolla on Marketplace (actually, I still can't), but you are presumably putting it to auction because you want top dollar. The rust repair also might keep me away from paying top dollar.
