With that one, you will need a MAF adaptor.

But, I would really suggest leaving your stock box on and just simply getting a K&N drop-in. My theory is that they're too much work for so little of a gain (if any) top end... and then of course you loose some low end. On top of that, there's numerous CELs that can come on and such. They're really more for cars putting down much more power than out EJ22s :)

So, I'd seriously consider just a drop-in of you want to get the most out of your intake.

A high flow drop in with a modified airbox will give you very good results, I documented my findings on a '96 OBS a while back but am too lazy to link.

Yeah, just throw a K&N oanel filter in there, and rip out the intake silencer/snorkus if you have one. Worked pretty well for my EJ18. Gave it more torque and it sounds nicer too.
