i know this site is for mainly the gc8 but what is your guy's opinion on the 02rs, i mean same engine but new (uglier) body

Yeah I feel for you guys. Some old school RS guys don't like you cause you got the new body style and WRX owners don't like anyone unless they owned an RS before hand.

Same here i feel that the i-club is turning into a wrx club. We RS owners should have our own place since the wrx populatrity is skyrocketing. But we wont be held in the shadow of the wrx long live the gc8! RS pride fo life.

I was by the dealers the other day just kinda hanging out.Iwas talkin to the salesguys.They said,,they wish they had more 2002 RS's to sell.Evidently Subaru is REALLY pushen the wrx on the dealers.Another thin g they mentioned is the RS is easier fr the young guys to insure.Some ins. co. wont even rate a rex (turbo thing i guess).
Anyway any RS is welcome in my book.Welcome aboard.

i know where i live there a giant waiting list for 02RSs. funny how the dealers have a lot full of rexes and not 1 rs. prolly could sell mine for what i paid for it

The 2002 RS's are rather hard to locate around here as well. But most of the dealers have plenty of WRX's and can't sell because they are not willing to make any decent deals on them.
